Re: New 0-60 time 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L

I never got the 6.1 Headers installed, but I got quoted by a shop though. They bolts right up.

I don't know since I never had them installed? I think they are a bit different.

Re: New 0-60 time 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L

the srt manifolds do NOT bolt up to 5.7 midpipes. I saw where someone used srt midpipes as well, but had some issues with them, dont remember what exactly.

Re: New 0-60 time 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L

He's saying the flanges. You could either use the atoms SRT mid pipes or the ones from magnaflow which weigh a lot less. Idk about the flanges though

Re: New 0-60 time 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L

My headers are from ARH (American Racing Headers).

http://www.americanracingheaders.com...okee_SRT8.html

Give them a call and let them know your engine size if you want to order a set. They will make them for either a 6.1 or a 5.7.

You will need to heat shield some wiring and the starter, reroute the main body harness on the drivers side and the oil dip stick.

They are a PIA to put in but they are very nice headers.

I'm going to have to say that you crediting those Bosch plugs with your .3s reduction is probably a false attribution unless your Champions were totally fouled before. What do those IX series run these days, like $7/each, geez. Multiply that by 16 and that's pretty expensive (at least IMHO).

I think your .3s reduction is probably more like you having a better reaction time off the line than those plugs...

Also, to chime in with the others, there's no way those mods you listed produce that much HP. If you go to a dyno with those expectations, you'll be sorely disappointed.
