no heat shield on bwoody

i noticed that the k&n has a heat shield on the intake and the bwoody does not. opinions on what is better?

depends on what your doing....


if you have no possibility of driving through high water...the bwoody is better because it is lower in the bay and gets cooler air. Its a true CAI..whereas the K&N is a short ram

water that you can suck up into your motor... i live in fairbanks and during the spring time
our roads are a mess... deep pool of water!! i haven't had any problems with it yet... but ive never tried to cross a river ect...
