Re: Official CAI/Exhaust Thread!!!!!!!

I loved my Airaid...great sound, nice heat shield and will def handle the harsh weather! I think you made a great choice...it totally helped with exhaust note, mpg's and engine sound! And it is A LOT easier to install and the woody!

And no I do not need more coolant...pics were taken in my driveway on a slight decline!

Re: Official CAI/Exhaust Thread!!!!!!!

I have the Airaid for the 3.7L but I am not happy with the fit. Does not line up too well on the throttle body. The silicone reducer is also very sloppy over the throttle body. This may be diff for the 05-07. I had the airaid on my 2000 4.7L Dodge Durango and the fit and finish was top notch. In fact, the 5.7L airaids look great. I will post up some pics shortly.

Re: Official CAI/Exhaust Thread!!!!!!!

Looks really good Kyle. I am trying so hard to find cash to get a nice K&N like Robpp so i can have a real intake. I want to paint the intake tube and the strut bar Plum Crazy Purple. Id also like to get all the anodized BT stuff in Plum Crazy Purple and a few other small things under the jeep/in the engine bay. (rear diff cover)

Re: Official CAI/Exhaust Thread!!!!!!!

^^ Build one yourself for $50-100 depending on how "all-out" you go. Seriously I made an intake for my 02 4.7L Dakota and it was great, and cost $70 for all parts including the $40 9" K&N...good way to save $$$
