I did change the 2-3 @ 25% down to 2200 but didnt notice a big difference.

I am currently running FlyinRyan's trans tune and it is GREAT!

If someone cant or doesn't want to go the custom tune route, then do yourself a favor and do this! From the "perf trans tune to the BLACKPEPPER trans tune is night and day! I wish I had figured it out sooner. That being said, the custom trans tune.........Well, you just better hold on tight cuz that TM reduction just launches the truck!

I agree! Ryans TCM tune is definately worth the money! Next best thing after getting a tuner

So ryan got the 05 trans tune working? Did you change anything from his set up or what. Did you turn off mds or can that be done with his tune are you running 93 oct or 91 oct.

Chris, 2005s are a go, should be tuning another later this week...Russ aka 4.whoa wants his upshifts under light throttle to happen slightly earlier, but that is a super easy fix. He is running 91 octane. MDS is off.

So you have my info combined with Ryan's tune when you describe the tm reduction? Or is it just Ryan's tune?

I am a little confused...so I need to set the Jeep back to stock, send that original backup and my current toona file to you...then you work your magic, send it back to me with the flyingryan tc upgrade and im good to go? then I can log some stuf, send that and we can work on a cmr tune?

It is all on us...he was suggesting that your settings would serve as a good base Until you can obtain a full tilt trans tune. We can and do adjust WAY more than what can be done on the handheld...

Re: Part throttle upshift - Predator - U7137

besides the fun factor, what are the performance gains by the F-R trans-tune?

Unfortunately, the 6.1 Jeeps via CMR have no real trans control. We can tune the PCM of course, and remove PCM/TCM based torque management, which will affect how it shifts to some degree, but that is about it. The guys who have these trans tunes are seeing much more in terms of actual changes than that.
The 5.7s use a different trans so that is why there is more features.

No. Check your PMs BTW.

I need either your last tune written or your original backup. I send it back to you, you load it up to your truck, that is it. If PCM tuning is requested, then you can make a log at your convenience, and that is it. If you are content/happy with your PCM tune (AFRs are good, no knock retard, fuel trims are at or very close to 0, etc) and you just want a TCM tune, no log is required/needed.
