Re: Performance upgrade help??

Both are bs...depending on what engin you have the following is best:
4.7- superchips programmer, SCT tuner
5.7- diablo power programmer, SCT tuner
6.1- diablo power programmer, SCT tuner

Don't mess with the jet or hypertech

Re: Performance upgrade help??

The Jet and especially the hypertech are actually not all that bad, and in the case of the 3.7, which is what the OP has, thats the only options he has. There are other mods that can be done first without resorting to higher octane.

What are some other good options for the 3.7?

The 05s and 06s can be tuned with SCT.

Re: Performance upgrade help??

And the 93 octane tune is very noticeably. I put the stock tune back in a couple of days ago and loss a lot of power.

How much horsepower does a 3.7 gain from an SCT tune?

I honestly don't look at HP numbers on CAI or whatever. I base it off of what other experience.

I don't know what HP gains were but the the 93 tune along with the other modes in my signature were significantly noticeably. Seriously.

Do the CAI, Bored TB, and then the tuner.

The way those mods effected my WK kinda made me want to go back to stock height and tires. I can only imagine how much more power I would have if I did.
