Question about K&N cold air intake

I recently installed a K&N cold air intake in my 2008 Grand Cherokee and I'm curious if anyone has had issues with water getting in their air filter ether while driving in rain, through puddles, or in a car wash with an under body wash? My concern is how it's completely open to the ground as you can see in the picture, thank you. Can anyone tell me about their experiences ?
