Question for srt8 exhaust tips

Can I soak them in water with soap to clean them and then polish them with chrome polish?

Re: Question for srt8 exhaust tips

I can't say i've soaked my exhaust tips but you can wash them off with it,then use the chrome polish.

OR

You can save a step and pick up a can of NEV-R-DULL. Contains an kind of greasy cotton that does an amazing job of cleaning chrome and polished metals of almost any type. Just tear off a small piece and buff off the rust, grime, etc and then use a clean towel to wipe off the residue. You will be surprised how well it works!
