Re: R1 Concepts D/S rotors, pads and New E brake lever. 56K warning!

What does the e-brake handle come out of? an Overland or an SRT-8?

One thing that kid of sucks is my limited did not come with a leather-wrapped handle or console lid...Did they come in any other colors?

You need to remove the entire center console. The console is a bitch to remove and is in many pieces, lots of screws, and possibly more then what i had to do needs to be done. The lever comes with the first section of e brake cable already installed. That needs to be fed under the carpet and hump in the rear and attached to the Y for the rear 2 sections. I have no idea how to do this. I was very brave and figured out how to disco the cable in the jeep from the lever and the cable from the new lever. Its very hard to do and can possible ruin the new lever so unless you know what your doing you need to replace the lever with the cable. Think the rear seat needs to be removed to access the Y for the cables but i dont know maybe scott will chime in and tell us the proper way to install it.

All WKs in 05 and 06 had the plastic lever, i dont know if the overland or srt did though. I believe in '07 they started to put the leather lever in the limited and overland and same till current but i am not 100%.

I think everything for the lever is the same for the console lid as i have that in plastic too.

its offered in Dark slate gray and Light gray stone (more expensive) thats it. No Khaki unfortunately.

Same for the console lid.

Re: R1 Concepts D/S rotors, pads and New E brake lever. 56K warning!

I got about 150 miles on the new brakes so far and i love them!

Ive got a good week coming up. Should be installing my Bilstein front struts, FRP Tb (when it arrives) maybe change the broken wheel stuf on my pass rear wheel, and i am going to give it a good detail.

Oh yea almost forgot, this saturday is my wedding... LOL

Rented a 2010 V6 (sigh the don't rent out the hemi) Challenger for saturday through mononday, for a short weekend honey moon.
