I ended up doing that, i ordered 2 new bolts from just jeeps but ended up doing it different anways

I actually broke the top bolt on the side with the gas tank, it turned into a huge production. We ended up taking a control arm off to drop the axle a little more to drill it out.

But yeah, i drilled it out, and put a longer bolt ( i think a 3/8th) bolt and locking washer on the other side of it.

Re: rear sway bar install

thanks. To try and help avoid an huge production like you had, I took my dremel with a wire brush to get the thread lock and rust off of the bolt near the gas tank, and along with wd40 it came out without too much trouble. I drilled out the bolt today and finally got the whole thing done - what a pain. btw - Did you notice a difference when you added your srt front sway bar or did you add everything at once?

Actually, we got at least a foot of snow today, and the rear sway helped a lot with the 30-40 mph winds on the way to the junkyard to pick up an SRT front sway!

Re: rear sway bar install

I did a whole suspension swap in a day... New shocks, bwoody springs, bwoody endlinks, front and rear sway's... There was a big difference to say the least
