Socket size for srt/commander rear sway bar.

Dont ask, but I need the socket sizes for the bushing bracket bolts and for the nut and bolts on the links of the rear srt/commander sway bar. Thanks.

Re: Socket size for srt/commander rear sway bar.

Wouldn't they be the same size as what's on all the stock stuff right now? I don't know for sure since I haven't ordered my stuff yet, but one would think!

Re: Socket size for srt/commander rear sway bar.

When I replaced my WK Limited bar with the SRT8 bar, bushings and brackets I re-used the same bolts for the brackets and the tie rod end & nuts at he link. If I recall correctly it was two different metric sizes. Some combination of 18, 16 and 14 I think?

Re: Socket size for srt/commander rear sway bar.

Funny you should mention torque specs Scott as you know I am a stickler for such things. Even so, there's no way I could torque the nuts on the links. Tightening that nut required using a box end wrench on the nut and a real small socket on the threaded end of the tie rod end. Just no way to use a torque wrench and do it, at least not with the sockets I own.
