I noticed a lot of people have swapped out the sway bars, and i was looking to do the same on my 5.7 limited with the srt8 bars. Can you really feel a difference? how significant? Is it just a straight swap?
Thanks

That looks awesome. Same thing I would do, but in red since my WK's black and think red compliments it great like I did my upper sway bar and calipers. Def wrap it while installing it, I just used regular spray paint on my upper sway bar and it got scratched while mounting the cruise control thing back on it. Anything I paint from now on i'll use the brake caliper spray paint, I want to paint my rear differential cover red to make it look aftermarket.

Thanks, did it myself, a can of hi-temp engine enamel, once you give it the week they reccommend to fully cure its tough shit! Not that the sway under there will take much abuse anyways

WOW!! Did you paint that yourself or get it done? That is exactly what i want to do!!! I just got the woody sway links in super gloss yellow...looks great!!!

Nice job Marcus! I wish I would've thought of painting mine red before installing it.

Yup, thats it and it worked, but Actually the last color match I did in the engine I used hi-performance wheel paint, best and toughest stuff I've found yet, as it should going on wheels, thus can hold up to any road conditions. I'm thinking of rehitting the yellow bar in silver before i put it on, the wheel paint seems that tough.

Any plans on painting your front upper sway bar? I did mine in a Fire Red or something like that in just a basic Dupli-color spray paint and it completely makes it look aftermarket now, where before it was stock black and blended in. Im def a fan of painting things now making them stand out, but only things that would be sold as an aftermarket part. Not on the painting subject, but I was thinking of getting a few feet of stainless steel braided hose and fitting it over some of the hoses and wires in the engine bay.

And I think anything under the car or in the engine bay should be painted with a high temp engine or brake caliper enamel. I think because I used basic car spray paint on my upper sway bar now theres pieces of the hood liner imbedded in the paint. Sux, but not that noticable, and will prob repaint it at some point but in no rush.

So whats the noticable difference now with it on? Right now im not sure i would benifit from the rear srt sway bar since mines lowered on srt eibachs and have the wider tires, so going around corners is already really tight. One thing that does bug me still is going over bumps on the highways like over bridges and the car seems to shift over really quick, but i think thats because of the lowering springs being so tight.
