I am getting the springs and the bilsteins installed at the dealer on Monday!... I will take pics before and after re ride height etc. Have a friend at the dealer and got a break on the labour rate. Looking forward to seeing (feeling) the difference... and of course hoping this is a solution to the tire rub issues under load.

My Parts are almost here, SRT Springs and WK Bilsteins, I still haven't ordered the Sways and Links yet... don't think I can wait for them now. ( DAMN YOU GUYS) I can do that myself later.

Ladies and Gentlemen.....announcing..... these mods are completed!!!!! SRT8 springs installed!.... WK Bilsteins installed! Everyone seems to have an opinion on this aspect, but I chose to listen to the tech. The toe and camber were out a lot after the mod was done, so I got an alignment. The ride is definitely stiffer. The steering seems more responsive and the body roll is cut down substantially. The front end dive is reduced too when the brakes are applied aggressively. Thanks to Fabian (iJeep)and Scott(Scottina06) for helping me make the decision to do this mod. I took before photos with measurements and I will take after photos with measurements, but it is raining here and the Jeep is filthy. I would be embarrassed to post the after pics. I took a pic of my ride next to a stock CRD at the dealership after the suspension mod was competed. There is definitely a drop difference to the naked eye, or even eyes that are not naked  It was taken with my crappy cell phone.

looking forward to Pix, Did you say you got a deal at dealer for install? what was the end cost of install and alignment ? and how long did it take ?

Well I hate to quote what I paid as I have a friend at the dealer and I paid a reduced rate for labour (including the alignment) and the springs. The shocks I got from Allshock.com. They were great to deal with and even with $72.00 bux duty and the dollar conversion from USD to CDN (which isn't much these days), they were still just a tad over $400. Would have cost me much more had I bought them here at a retail store.

Yah maybe. If it was, I am sure you would have eaten some tires by now, depending on when you did it. I just wanted to play it safe. But like you, I love the way it handles compared to stock.....

Nice.. I can't wait for my springs to arrive.

ok... travelled 1600 miles, with the bike trailer and some stuff in the back including the dogs..... absolutely NO TIRE RUB ISSUES. This mod is great...

well you told me that guys are towing 7000 lb boats and trailers with their SRT8's and you had a bijillion pounds of slabs in your ride with no tire rub issues.... I am just so damn happy that I could prove you roight! hahhahaha That was with my Aussie accent for Marlin. And the added bonus of a better ride ( but that is helped by lower tire psi. I have to increase it for the load... but if I leave it there o(increased) once the load is unloaded... rides like a tamed rock.

just for a bump,,,I noticed the handling on my Jeep improved just with a OEM SRT wheel and tire swap...thought I had a bit of bump steer at first but I only felt it once...all joy now. I'm thinking I might swap the parts in a bit at a time to try to find the changes, start with the rear bar, then the front, then springs and shocks...tbc.
