Re: Straight Pipe

Yes, there is a minimal amount of drone, but not overwhelming. I left the stock resonator on, and it really gives it a nice sound. The only concern I have at this time is that there is a small exhaust leak in between the mount plates. After not being able to find anything at Napa, Auto Zone, etc. I called the dealership. There are no exhaust gaskets for the 2006 Grand Cherokee exhaust. I need to figure out what to do now, because even though its almost unnoticeable, if I know its there, it bothers me. Again, don't do it if you think it'll be too much sound for you, get a Borla, nice and quiet. But if you want a comparably inexpensive mod, that doesnt affect emissions, inspection, and I can swap the stock muffler back in with 6 bolts anytime I want. If you think its too loud, go cash your social security check, take your AARP card and go fill up your rascal. I like how it sounds and get out of my way on the highway.

Re: Straight Pipe

I know, I am just laying on the accelerator all the time now. It sounds great, wasting gas though too. Good thing its not a Toyota or it would never stop hahahaha. Can't wait to see pics of yours, I am posting pics wither today or tomorrow when I put the spacers on.
