Re: Strut bar vs sway bar?? Which and why??

I remember when I first replaced the stock shocks with the WK bilsteins (not the SRT) and the SRT rear sway... it was night and day difference. The stock suspension on the WK is garbage IMO.

I can only imagine how much better it will handle with the SRT shocks/springs/sways and the bwoody links.

So what Bilsteins do you recommend with SRT springs and sways?

WK Bilsteins or SRT Bilsteins???

Re: Strut bar vs sway bar?? Which and why??

If you're gonna go, go big.... get the SRT bilstein's.

The WK bilstein's give about 3/8" lift.

Re: Strut bar vs sway bar?? Which and why??

I have had both Bilsteins on my jeep and if you want sports car handling and a shock/strut built for the WK...go with the SRT Bilsteins. If you just wanna replace the stockers...go with the WK Bilsteins...they are pretty much and improved oem shock strut in gas form.

Re: Strut bar vs sway bar?? Which and why??

Do they make upgraded aftermarket strut brace and/or sway bars? Be nice if somebody made a StrutB that tied into the firewall, too, for the ultimate in rigidity, which is really what the StrutB is supposed to be for. The sway bar helps more in handling overall of course, but wondering how detrimental for offroading it would be to upgrade? I suppose you could always get (or make) swayB link disconnects...

Re: Strut bar vs sway bar?? Which and why??

theres the SRT8 sway bars and strut bar. The sway bars make a HUGE difference in the WK. The SRT strut bar is thicker and taller.....Ive had it for a long time...not really sure if it made a difference.....but it looks nice....LOL
