You need custom tuning to get the best gains. You need to get the Jeep on the Dyno.

Cant he go to the SCT and then get Dyno tuning?
Or is the only other option a B&G PCM?

SCT up to 2006...he has a 2007...so B&G would be the only other option at the moment

91 tune and run 93 fuel
raise the top speed
calculate the diameter of your tires and change that
you can increase your rev limiter...but on an otherwise stock engine...your not gonna get any gain
you dont need to alter the axle gear ratio...becasue you have the stock 3.73 gears
you can raise your shift points...but I found the 91 tune shift points to be good
Honestly...your gonna have to play with the unit some.....try some different settings and record the results
-record air/fuel data
-air flow rates and temp
-timing
run some 0-60, 1/4 mile etc and play with it

^^x2 and remember if your bring your jeep in for servicing to flash it back to stock. Like I said before I noticed a considerable difference using the flashpaq on my Ram. I didn't mess with too much stuff.

ok hijacking real quick....
the last two comments from scott and HB...
This is about the superchips? i have a 2007 and am trying really hard to justify $350...
I'm going to need it in the spring to adjust for tire diameter... but should i really be looking for performance gains? or should i just wait and use it for the EGR

there will be performance gains with the SC. use the 91 tune and run 93 fuel. The tranny shifts better and there are hp gains
