supercharger....for real?

I saw this site with this products. I was wondering if its a sham and a waist of money.

I was thinking of integrating into my K&N CAI on my 3.7L Cherokee. I did just about everything else to help it along. Fastman TB, Magnaflow exhaust, and CAI.

Re: supercharger....for real?

I would stay away. JBA makes headers and Hypertech makes a tuner that looks fairly legit but I don't think anyone has tried it. There are also UD pulleys available for the 3.7. I figure those are our best bets.

jvs302 or somethingorother has tried the Hypertech programmer, with positive results. Hypertech was a user here, until the Admins caught on to them talking about their product without being a vendor.

Electronut (btw- nice S/N) did Fastman port the backside of your TB too? I have done 3.7 intake manifold porting with very good results, without tuning....There is some debate as to if the manifold can be removed without cowl modifications.

Re: supercharger....for real?

I've heard about these kits, you buy them from a prince in Nigeria who just needs a small amount of cash to get through the international red tape. Then he wraps your electric supercharge in 100 dollar bills and sends it to you, just to hold onto for him until he can make it into the country.

Hey Ryan - Naw....he didn't do the backside. Sorry I didn't give you this biz. You know I tried you first.

As far as other comments....you guys are right...I deserve the abuse for asking LOL. What was I thinking !!

Just trying to see if I can get any more horses out of my 3.7.

Re: supercharger....for real?

Also, Ryan, I understand modifying the cowl may be easier to accomplish than what I suggest, but as per service information if you just pull the right engine mount through bolt out and set the motor down it will come out. Sorry if this is information you already knew.
