Re: using srt manis on 5.7 who did it?
You would actually benefit from using the oversized "D" shape of the SRT exhaust manifold inlets on a 5.7L head, for they would keep exhaust gases from re-entering the block due to the small lip.
Having said that, AR put 5.7L manifolds on my headers, but included the 6.1L gaskets...go figure!? Oh well, the OEM gaskets are much better anyway. I was going to go with the stock SRT8 system, but decided to go with AR, since others have had success...
Oh ya...my current Borla exhaust is LOUD! I went with chambered mufflers on the SW system, as opposed to the straight through "S" type muffler option, for they are supposed to be more quiet. If you go with the Borla "S" system and the SRT8 headers it should be plenty loud!
