Without knowing the engine, you've posed a wide open question with little opportunity to provide good answers.
Cold air intakes, headers, low restriction cat, low restriction cat back will help most engines a bit, but you have to be careful not to run too lean.
If you have the 4.0 and are mechanically handy, drop in a stroker kit to go with improved breathing. The kits range from 4.5 mild to 5.0 wild, then you can always add a turbo. Pretty much all of them require replacing injectors.
If you have the 5.9, think very carefully before you mess with a collectable.
