Warranty saga with Corsa begins!

I've had the Corsa system on my GC since 8/2012 and from day 1 it had a bad weld. Had to contact Corsa to get a replacement. Unfortunately they were not very helpful, contrary to what I had heard. I did eventually get my replacement part and had to tear the entire system off to replace the drivers side tunnel muffler. What a royal pain...

Now I have a nasty rattle from one of the mufflers. Just submitted my warranty claim via email to Corsa for next steps. We shall see how well or poor they do. I'm not expecting much given the poor level or service I experienced last time, but they could surprise me.

At any rate, the point behind me posting is much the same as the videos I did. Just wanting to share my experience before someone who is on the fence pulls the trigger on an expensive exhaust system. I love the sound, am so-so on their support right now, and am very unhappy with long term quality and durability.

Will post as my saga moves along.

Anybody else have good or bad warranty experiences? What was the typical response time?

Update 1 - went to Corsa website and looked up claim email. Sent email to warranty@corsaperfoance.com. Waited a few hours, then called the office line. The operator never saw my claim, said the address was wrong, and send it to Mike instead and gave me his email. Oh, and he's out of the office until Thursday by the way. Oooookaaay. Would be great if there was someone else available, but I guess not?

I'm off to the start I figured...conveniently didn't receive my email, only one person can help and isn't around!

Hopefully not a sign of things to come. To be continued Thursday I guess!

Sorry, iphone messed up the spelling

Warranty@corsaperformance.com

Was told that wasn't the right email, even though the web site FAQs list it. "Oh, we'll have to change that." And "go email this guy instead" was the response.

Ok. Time to wait and see!

You got one in the NW 'burbs of Chicago? I don't feel like ripping this thing off and installing again, assuming I can get Corsa to live up to their warranty. I'll pay someone to remove and install...

Can you elaborate on the easy fix statement? What do you anticipate it involving?

Iggys in hardwood heights does awesome exhaust work.. Maybe they can help.

The gentleman that was out until today actually emailed me last night. He was asking for my original invoice and pictures of the system...which I had already included. Common mistake we all make. At any rate after a couple back and forth messages I am supposed to be getting a new set of tunnel mufflers in the mail in about 10 days. I guess they changed the manufacturing process on the tunnel mufflers, so they are going to send me both.

Redeeming themselves from the last time if the parts end up showing up as promised! I'll be a happy camper with their service, but durability will still remain a question mark until I get some miles on the new parts.
