NikonKiem has a spectacular aura about
Which magnaflow Muffler and why.

Im getting ready to get a muffler added so I can get that V8 sound that we all want. I have decided on Magnaflow after reading everything that all of you have to say about them. Now the real question is. Which one and why. I mean there is always the magnaflow built system for almost 700.00 bucks (no thank you). Does anyone have that, or does everyone just buy a muffler and keep there stock pipes (which is what was suggested to me by the shop. I have read that alot of people do a 2.5in inlet and 3in outlet. Why? Finaly what size and what are the diffrences between the sizes.
Mod List
Next K&N intake or other brand
Tunner
FYP Throttle body
Cams
Srt Supension
Any sugestions on that order of mods
THANKS

jeepnjeep is just really nice
Re: Which magnaflow Muffler and why.

Check out this link. Mine sounds really nice. Yeah there is drone at 2,000 which I knew about but a resonator can fix that. I love it.

Re: Which magnaflow Muffler and why.

usually the smaller...the louder and the more drone. I would just remove the suitcase size muffler...add straight pipe in its place and then add a resonator at the end of the exhaust...just before the tip. You can probbaly find a simple resonator on here for free or cheap. The 4.7 sounds awesome like that. JMO.

Re: Which magnaflow Muffler and why.

The Hemi has a resonator, others don't. The res. is at the back of the tailpipe.
