The cams available are the HO cams you have that are modified by regrinding the lobes. They do add power however require tuning- as well as the other mods mentioned like TB mods, exhaust - to work best. It would be silly- not to mention a waste of $$$$- to do the big mods without first getting at least the majority of the bolt-on stuff first. Having a HO motor puts you well ahead of the curve, as the features specific to the HO allow it to be more responsive to basic modifications than the standard 4.7.

The red one is sold...

Re: Which mod is more beneficial?

Can you school me a bit on the benefits and drawbacks of 68mm v 70mm v 70+ on a daily-driver?

Just so I'm 100% on the process...you're milling material away, smoothing it out, and polishing it, correct? The butterfly is replaced or does it remain?

Thanks in advance!

I have sold several that are ported to ~86 mm at the inlet, tapering to the stock blade then enlarged on the backside to match the intake manifold. The feedback has been 100% positive. And if you dont like it...send it back.
Can you pm me on the cost? Thanks!

There are no drawbacks to going larger....its just that the returns diminish after 70mm with a stock engine.

What I do is taper-port the casting into a oval shaped bellmouth , increasing flow and velocity. This allows the TB via the venturi effect to flow like a bigger bore tb with more crisp throttle response and stronger low end grunt. Call it the best of both worlds. I use the stock 68mm blade.

Re: Which mod is more beneficial?

Thanks Ryan! Let me see where I am in a few weeks. I placed another LED order from VLEDs, so I'm strapped now. I'm leaning heavily towards TB over muffler right now. Once I'm ready, I'll reply to your PM with the answer to your question about my current TB and we can roll from there.

THANK YOU!
