4.7 is not the same as 5.7......

5.7 and srt8 have a seperate TCM under the dash.

eventhough a 4.7 & 5.7 share rthe same trans, 4.7 ZTCM is inside the PCM. no seperate tunable box.

so like sciott said, b&g may have dione some wonders in his case running one of their PCMs.

If you have the NGC pcm it is all in one but some have the JTEC with separate TCM..

Also TQ management pulls info from TPS and speed to aid in knowing to apply TQ management. Example @ 0 MPH and 100% tps you will have TQ management unless disabled by some form of tuning or reflashing. There may be other sensors at play here two, these are the first ones that i thought of.

That was the problem with me wanting to buy Mario's B&G PCM to have it re-flashed to my 07. It couldnt be done because for 05-06, it was one unit.

In your opinion, is it possible to banish TM or will it take down other functions with it?
