Being in my unique situation , I am always trying to find new Green products that I can try. The regular car product Hurt more then help ( literally) .
So as i find them, I figured I would review them so others that may be interested in going more green can have atleast a reference .
After doing some searching I came across a website called Mycleaning products.com . They not only sell Household cleaners but a set of automotive cleaners and detail products . My first thought was "Yeah ...Ok , lets give them a try .
The one thing I will tell you is, this company likes to send emails . I unsubscribed to any newsletter they sent and that took care of it
So I ordered out a list of their products
Tire shine - Tire wet type product
Double detailer - a wash and wax
When they arrived from the house the return address was a Optimal Chemical company ,based in Lancaster, Pa . This was not looking good ! The words CHEMICAL are right in the name . The only way to know for sure is to have a sniff of each one
. ( I know the bottle says Florida ,Thats where the main office is)
This brings a lot of anxiety for me due to the circumstance of my injury ,but I can tell you that the products caused no issues at first smell. I have no sense of smell ( part of the nerve damage ) so I rely on My wife to let me know If they truly have a scent or not ....anyway back to the review .
The first of these products I have tried is the tire shine http://www.mycleaningproducts.com/category/tire-shine
This seemed to do a pretty good job , They say It can be sprayed on wet or dry . I would recommend dry, It seemed to have become a little splotchy when sprayed wet.
This is a no wipe product, so its spray and walk away . I get a small amount of pain when using it so, I imagine it has a bit of scent ( The wife confirmed this , she said had a slight cherry smell) . So I Personally will not be using it on any inside surface . I also wear my mask when spraying it .
But it seems to have done a pretty good job ( surprised) . Here are the finished results
I will be trying the other products ,not to mention a few others in the near future ,Some I have been using and are strong enough to melt plastic . ( I know this ....I melted a printer housing and LED light lens
