Re: HOW TO: Remove Lower Chrome Molding (SRT8)

the maion reason NOT to do it the ALF way and to do it the DOWNSTATE way is the removed moldings. anyone yanking on the chrome ones will break clips and maybe even the molding. since a new 4 pc chrome set is over 250 at the stealer, it pays to take a little extra time and not damage anyhting. then sell your spares.

even the black ones are worth something if you take them off without damage. new black set is over 100 so getting 40-50 is not out of the question.

Re: HOW TO: Remove Lower Chrome Molding (SRT8)

Just a FYI I still broke two clips, two of the clips you can't access from inside the door panel. But its nothing some double sided 3M tape can't fix.

Hey Rob, I went to the GM dealer and got those clip on washer nozzles that you use, holy shit they spray in 4 different directions LOL, I plugged up two of the hole and I'm letting it dry now, and will get them mounted inside the medic hood spray out.

I thought it was funny, I went to test the nozzle and it sprayed my roommate who was standing about 10 feet away!

Got my stickers too, thanks Rob - I have a huge Jeep Garage logo on the back now!
