Looks good man. Were those the chrome mirror covers? If so did he sand the chrome off and paint them to the plastic?
Someone had already painted these once... they needed sanded back down and re-sprayed along with the Black Ops covers..

Thanks for sending them in!
I like how they look on there

Thumbs up Re: 05-07 Black Ops Covers & Mirror Covers Painted

Helllo Guys,

Thanks for all the postive post. I keep looking at how great it looks.
One thing I did notice is that I can see the side reflector on the sides with lights on or turn blinker on. So that maybe good to see at night. Keep the posts coming.

Thanks
Chris

Thanks

I'm glad you mentioned this I now.
I have addressed it before but it's something everyone should be paying close attention to. Their is a possibility of seeing out the sides of them at night that is the drawback of having a cover that is so thin. It's a trade off of having a thick bulky cover that sticks out or one that is super thin I mean super thin that sits flush with the fenders.

Few options. Paint the back of the cover with primer and use black electrical tape on the corner marker bulb. Run a strip of black electrical tape around the edge of the corner marker before you put the cover on. Take the bulb out all together LOL.

See I tried to keep the body line from the fender to the headlight space even instead of just making something that just fills in the whole gap between the headlight and the fender. The only down fall is that light WILL escape any way it can. The beauty of this mod IMO is in the daytime not night time their isn't much that can even be seen at night on our rigs anyway. If it where me I would just take the bulb out since it's covered anyway and probably line the edge of the headlight before putting on the cover.

Hey Chad,
That is some good ideas in keeping the light coming though, You are correct the beauty of this mod is the daytime look. I may take the light out. They fit great. My next mod maybe the Medic Hood.

Later
Chris
