Re: 08' factory projectors in a 05'.....need some pointers

I will def be trying this!! Here in lame 'o' Missouri we have some hills that are pretty steep and at night, my lights are to intense that most of the on coming drivers catch the full HID effect which I don't enjoy.... only sometimes!
These projectors should def help a ton!

Post up night shots to see the cut off please!

Is a relay kit needed for D1S bulbs and ballasts. I just bought the head lamps in this thread and need to figure out what to buy next. I have a 9006 HID kit, but I don't believe that has the correct connectors for D1S bulbs??

When I clicked on the bulbs, there was a "other bought these also" at the bottom. They had ballast adapter for the bulbs.

It appear that you can purchase a D1S adapter for D2S bulbs, but that's it. I can't find any information on a relay kit for D1S bulbs, which lead me to believe it's not needed (or none has ever written about it!).

you need a relay kit too so you can hook them too the battery, if your using factory ballasts you will also need to solder some wires and make them fit into your 9006 port
