so glad you're posting this, especially about the bumper difference. i see the difference, but i'm curious; you mentioned not having bought the right parts, what would that be?

I didnt realize I needed different bumper retainers. They aren't expensive.

You should just go ahead and order the new headlight brackets aswell so the bumper fits properly.

Those fender brackets have a tendency to break where the 10mm bolt goes into it in the fender.

Re: 2011 to 2014 front swap.

Ok so, Upper bumper, Lower bumper, Lower Fascia, Fascia Cover, Headlight Brackets, Bumper retainers, Grill, Headlights, Fog Lights, and Tow Hooks or Covers. Is there anything else necessary for installation?
I have a guy at the car lot I work at that can install, he's good, but obviously never done something like this. Is there any info that is crucial to installation, not in this thread already? He can figure out the lights, he specializes in electrical stuff, but just want to make installing the rest as easy as possible for him.

German Overland, yours turned out awesome, I'm very interested in doing something similar.

Re: 2011 to 2014 front swap.

I'm pretty happy with mine. I just put my tow hooks on at Christmas. I painted them body color silver to stand out against the black lower fascia. Looks more finished now I'll get some pics later also added a roof rack but just a cheap temp one because I needed a roof carrier for a trip.

It looks like you have pretty much everything. Did you get the front mud flap things that go on the bottom of the bumper. Can't remember the actual name of them right off.

My lights still haven't been worked out fully yet I am running full brightness on Led's 24-7 night time is pretty blinding, really need to fix that.

Make sure to post your pics when you get it done. I'm interested to see how it looks.
