Hi guys, i'm new to the forum and i recently purchased a 2015 grand cherokee altitude. I want to replace my halogen headlamps with the SRT HID/LED headlamps. I have the entire headlight unit and housing for both passenger/driver sides but i just need some advice on what i need to do next. Where can i get a wire harness for the conversion to work? is there anything else i need to know? Thank you in advance for your help. i attached a picture of the headlights i have below
Hi, i just purchased the same truck and have been doing research todo the same...i found a video on youtube explaining the conversion process ill send you the link..also i discovered that the altitude in Australia is called the black hawk which happens to come with those headlamps...maybe there is a way to order the harness and or any wires needed from Australia to complete the conversion. Ill send you pics of the black hawk as well.

Good luck...keep me posted if you can.

Howdy!! I am new to the forum as well. I just purchased an Altitude yesterday, and I want to do the same conversion. Did you find all of the answers to the harness? Did you get your new headlights installed? Where did you get the harness and the upgraded headlights?
Deposit? Is it a new GC Altitude 3? The headlights are bright without the mod. One of the guys on here was nice enough to provide me some info on the conversion. It looks pretty simple from what I read.
Cool. I just bought mine a couple weeks ago. I got the black out edition. I had to buy it because I recently moved to Colorado, and my Infiniti G35 will not handle well in snow. If you want to shoot me an email, I can try to send you the links from what I found. My email is russellk22@gmail.com.
I was just referring to the dealer's terminology. They called it the black out edition on their lot because of some of the trim options they applied to it.
As far as snow goes, we apparently get a ton. I am about 1200 feet higher in elevation than Denver.
That's exactly what my GC looks like; black 20 inch rims, black trim, black decals, and everything on the interior is black as well. I am just new to the Jeep Brand, so when they kept calling it the "Black Out Edition", I was unaware that it was their own terminology.
The "black out" look for the Grand Cherokee is called Altitude for the package added to the Laredo trim and High Altitude for the package added to the Overland trim.
I have a 2015 JGC and want to do the HID conversion also. Just wondering if I purchased the dealer harness for the HID's would I be able to plug and play from there or would not be able to plug the HID harness into my vehicle and get the HID's to work properly.
Heyy. I dont think so but I'm not 100% sure. I went with the extreme hid kit 4300k phillips bulbs and it's a night a d day difference. I am very happy now. Those stock lights are horrible! My 2010 corollas bulbs from autozone ate brighter then the 2015 jgc!
