Hey JG members,
I thought I'd share with you my next modification besides the door moldings which are still in progress and being painted as we speak.

Dreamer was selling his Overland Rock Rails and I decided to buy them.

I wanted to get an idea of what my 99 WJ Laredo would look like without the skirts, so I popped one off and wiped it down. I must say, the jeep looks even better. Now it's only missing the Rock Rails. Check out the pictures!

Heres with the Side Skirt on:

Heres the side skirt off, laying on the ground:

Heres the almost complete look, just waiting on the Overland Rock Rails :)

Closer look, likey likey? :p

As you can see, where my finger is pointing (touching) the Rock Rails will cover that up? Kinda?

Another view closer for the front. Can't wait for the LAREDO to be gone!

That looks so good dude. Jeep never seemed to understand how many rust problems were caused by those plastic rocker covers. The rock rails will bolt up near that seam(pinch weld) and cover it up nicely for you.

You jeep is looking great, cant wait to see all the nice new body moldings on.

They make good paints for that kind of stuff. The side skirts on the WJ holds in moisture and makes rust more commonly. Go look at most ZJs they will most likely have rot behind them and WJs too now.

Yeah, I was surprised that the paint was in that good condition. :)
Very please with the results so far! Makes my jeep look more like a Limited!
I can't wait to get my hands on the Rock Rails.

I'll be painting the Rock Rails AFTER I get it installed on my jeep so I know its ready to go and situated when it's actually painted (finished).
