yeah i dont get why they say one is hid and one is not, im assuming the hid ones must come with the autoleveling stuff or something or a different adapter, cause i bought ones that said no hid and they fit the ballasts and bulbs just the same so idk why their separating it now, although i got mine from ebay too so maybe that site is selling different lights idk.

SVT393--that kit looks like it would work to me dont forget to get relays too though

Re: aftermarket OEM spec'd HIDs for wk

Are you saying different than OEM or different then the out of stock ones on am-autoparts.com?

The plugs on the following two links look the same to me (although different angles). I'm no expert though, I've only ever replaced one headlight bulb (halogen at that), so please tell me if I'm seeing it wrong.

Re: aftermarket OEM spec'd HIDs for wk

the 2nd ones listed are for DIRECT replacement of the oem HID lamps...so they have a different plug from the first ones. The first ones will be plug and play as far as the plug on a nonhid Jeep from 08-10

Those two lamps are the same! Not sure why they say one is for Halogen. I bought those and they are OEM HID. I even emailed AM Autoparts and they seemed confused and asked me to take pics of the housing. I said they look exactly like the ones on your web page. I don't think they even have these projectors for halogens. just a hunch.

Re: aftermarket OEM spec'd HIDs for wk

I completely agree, I ordered the "HID" ones and they arrived yesterday... seems I'm a sucker this time

On another note, they're Eagle Eye brand if anybody was wondering. The pictures on their site are accurate even down to the plugs they show. The slot for the ballast is even there.
