And yes, the punisher skull if definitely still in the pipeline. I'll need to get a peice big enough to do the whole headliner.

I've got enough left at the moment to do the centre arm rest and trim some door parts or I thought last night, about doing the B pillars too. I think I might struggle a bit with the arm rest, as I had a quick dry run last night and I'm a bit worried about how I'll get the corners nice and clean, without any obvious folds etc.

I spoke to an upholsterer I work with and he said he would do the whole dash for $60 labour. Bargain!

I would love to cover the top part of the steering wheel but I've no idea how I'd go about doing it. I want to avoid removing it if I can.
yeah... every once in a while I pull my head outa my ass long enough to make one good post...

Re: Alcantara A pillars...pics

How do you bolt the pillar covers back up in place if the Alcantara covers it? Or am I just missing something in the pic?

There's no bolts, they just clip into place.

I've found this from Hamze's old post;

I'm presuming the holes on the a pillars in this pic are where the handles go.

I've had a thought about the centre armrest. As I've said I don't think it'll work in once piece, so I'll need to have it done in three sections and stitched, like this...

One of my neighbours can do this for me as she runs a business making curtains etc. Now, this is where it gets potentially interesting. She also does custom embroidery, so I'm thinking, maybe a punisher skull on the top of the armrest

Any thoughts? I have also thought about getting skulls sewn into the headrests, but I'd need to have the leather peice taken out, so it can fit in the machine they use.

I don't know if a white/silver, whatever light color thread you go with, Punisher skull in such a high-traffic area would be good, not only dirt, but wear. If you keep your arm/elbow on there long enough, the threads might fray.

Yeah I did wonder about that. I was gonna say with thread for the stitching on the arm rest, but as you say dirt is an issue. Don't suppose I could go wrong with black or even a matching thread in dark grey.

Think I may look into getting the logo done on the headrests, but again my greasy bald head would be against it all the time!
