Re: Another HID thread by me

I love my 6K! And the light output is great...super easy to line them up too!

White Chocolate is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Another HID thread by me

Aim them up using a HUGE wall, back up a little, and align as needed.

Projectors, either a retrofit or OEM housings, are on my to do list. I will not be satisfied until I have a wicked sharp cutoff!
I have found that a quad headlight set up is always the best pick if your going to put HIDs in a halogen housing. But duel headlight set up is a real PITA. I'm going to buy the 6500k and if I get flashed too much I'll just buy the 8000k and if I get flashed too much with that then I'll just buy a set of bright off road lights to use when people flash me

Thanks guys!

Don't get offroading lights to flash back, aim them down. If you're getting flashed it's because oncoming traffic can't see. You're endangering other people on the road and being selfish.

I was just joking about flashing with my off road lights.

On another related subject I am going to get off road lights to use as high beams due to me living out in the woods were deer like to play chicken on the highway My brother has already hit a deer and I've had to lock up my brakes a few times to avoid them. I hope with off road lights, I have a wider beam so I can see into the fields were the deer like to hide.

How does aiming the lights down effect me seeing out? Or does it cancel it self out with the higher output?

And BS about people not being able to see, I've been flashed when I drive cars that has factory HIDs (both MKZ and the SHO). I'm very sensitive to light and have seen cars like the ones that I drive coming towards me and never had a problem with it. I passed my mom in my Camaro which sits low to the ground and never had a problem.

If you want to split hairs, I have quad headlights from the factory. I would love your style headlights; they look pretty good for retro-fitting some bi-xenon projectors.

I won't do yours, but with some research you could do them yourself. Google retrofit HIDs and you will find plenty of info.
