Automotive Touchup paint on quad projector headlight housing

I was looking thorugh the threads here on JG and i was seeing responses about the color matching paint from automotive touch-up.com possibly being bad. I ordered this paint for my retrofit is it a good idea to colormatch my housing's with this paint. Any insight will be very helpful

Re: Automotive Touchup paint on quad projector headlight housing

for me, automotive touchup is amazing, it matches my paint code(PXR) perfectly. As for headlights, Im pretty sure you wont have a problem. I used a can of Engine Enamel semi gloss black for my headlights just because of maybe the heat from the HIDs and only can i had at the moment lol.

Re: Automotive Touchup paint on quad projector headlight housing

i used automotivetouchup on my headlights when i had a problem. BUT I did like 20 things at once so the paint being the cause is questionable. plus I used a clear over the color. and it MAY or MAY NOT be automotivetouchup clear....dont recall/ i epoxied the QUAD projectors in. epoxy the led rhlao trings. painted shrouds flat black........so who knows.

AND I ditched the cheap aftermarket lenses for OEM and glued it all back and its together now. and been like that since last year/
