Billet Door Locks & Bezels

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to give props to to SLVRLTNG for making these awesome locks and bezels!!! Perfect fit and look sweet. I can now put my arm on the door sill and not get poked by the OEM locks (annoying!!!). I screwed mine in enough so they sit flush when locked. I think they look great!

White Chocolate is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Billet Door Locks & Bezels

My bezel worked fine

One of them is a little "tight", but oh well

Re: Billet Door Locks & Bezels

i could see the bezels being annoying.......i know it sounds a bit metallic when they lock. also a bit of vibration from the BEATS. but I think the LOOK is worth it!

Props to Jon SLVRLTNG

Re: Billet Door Locks & Bezels

I really like mine too! I get some vibrations when the doors are unlocked; however, when they're locked, there's no issues!

too much "bling" on the door, vibration, and noise when they are being closed. the stock bezels look great with the billet lock. if anyone needs stock billet bezels, PM and you can have 5 of them for postage.

Re: Billet Door Locks & Bezels

What about getting them powdercoated?? Or is it decent now with the contrast of the stock bezel?

Edit: And when you say noie when the door is closed, are you referring to the two pieces making contact and a "clang"??

Re: Billet Door Locks & Bezels

Haven't noticed any issues myself... maybe I'm lucky. I don't know how I dealt with the oem locks for so long especially in nice weather with my arm on the door!

Re: Billet Door Locks & Bezels

its a small zzzzt type noise of metal sliding on metal. just for the INSTANT that the thing moves up or down .

i said it before I dont mind the sounds and LOVE the looks

or you could do what svenska did and just use the flush pin/

Re: Billet Door Locks & Bezels

Has anyone had them PC'd yet? I wouldn't mind having some black locks on mine, lol.
