Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to give props to to SLVRLTNG for making these awesome locks and bezels!!! Perfect fit and look sweet. I can now put my arm on the door sill and not get poked by the OEM locks (annoying!!!). I screwed mine in enough so they sit flush when locked. I think they look great!
too much "bling" on the door, vibration, and noise when they are being closed. the stock bezels look great with the billet lock. if anyone needs stock billet bezels, PM and you can have 5 of them for postage.
i could see the bezels being annoying.......i know it sounds a bit metallic when they lock. also a bit of vibration from the BEATS. but I think the LOOK is worth it!
Haven't noticed any issues myself... maybe I'm lucky. I don't know how I dealt with the oem locks for so long especially in nice weather with my arm on the door!
HAHAHA i dont have the announcer voice for youtube vids lol i will definately be a pic whore when i get my interior back from bob done in blue leds like your jeep
powder coat would def be too thick! it'd be great if someone could anodize them black...but i have a feeling they would fade very quickly. anything i've ever owned that's been anodized has faded to a weird color usually orange.
WHat if the locks were pc'd black and the stock ring was used? Think that would work? I would like to have to smooth locks but do not want the silver look (obviously, lol)
Hello NHWK05...thanks for the compliment. The leather is what sold me on buying this Overland...I love it!!! Anyways, SLVRLTNG is the guy to contact for those. I'm on the southcoast of MA just under 1hr south of Boston. Thinking about hosting a meet and greet for southcoast MA if enough interest. What do you think?
