I believe it is a Federal law that makes it illegal

It's illegal to drove faster than 70 mph. Speed limiters aren't set to 70

Obviously, anyone with common sense would not drive with high beam / fog lights on around other traffic. I would not be happy with that answer.

As much as I like to go fast, I never really got that. My car shuts off at 127 MPH and I often wondered why. There is really no reason for me to drive that fast inside my car even in a emergency.

The speed limiters in most vehicles are set by the tire speed rating. Thanks a lot Firestone! LOL. The Cherokee SRT8 has tires rated in excess of 170 mph (I don't recall the exact speed rating) But now that you mention it I don't recall what the factory setting is. I know you can change it with a starSCAN or a Predator hand held. I raised mine to 200

Re: Bright lights on with the fog lights

Is a stock SRT capable of going that fast?

I've had mine to about 173 numerous times. But I don't recall it ever being stock... I think it just had headers and CAI at that time...

The two of you should sign a piece of paper releasing liability and have a copy made for each party... maybe a bottle of Glenfiddich would help persuade your dealership
