I say go for it man! Nothing to lose at all (well except some a little cash on vinyl if you need to buy more) and if you decide you don't like it you can peel it off no problems.

If it was me I'd do; wood on doors, wood on dash and the armrest - sure I saw someone on here do one... Although like you I love wood and covering it would be painful, but IDK about having both...

American wood trim is a pale shadow of what the rest of the world is putting out. Even the Koreans are kicking our asses in this field. I say cover it all. But I'm drunk off my ass, what do I know?

That settles it, fawk it, I'll give it a go. I'll need to buy more to do the interior, but it's only 20.

Have you been drinking my Soju Ron? Don't tell me I'm going to get an empty bottle in the mail.

Re: Carbon Fibre Vinyl...work has begun

I saw the armrest Marty, yeah it was sweet. I nearly wrapped mine but I didn't have a piece big enough to cover it. Great minds definately think alike Marty. I'll cover all the wood if it looks bad, then it's no biggy to lose 20 worth of vinyl. I'm gonna try doing the liftgate hinges tomorrow and try the window mouldings too. I'm also thinking about alacantra?! that suede/ carpet stuff I've seen done on that Ukranian Jeep. I'd like to do the headliner too, but no idea how much of a PITA it would be. I really wanna have a unique Jeep. I get a lot of stares as it is, purely cause the V8 ain't that common here. Speaking of which, I smoked an M3 today! Sweet moment

Nah man! Soju is more plentiful than water here. Your bottle is safe.

If you have a local fabric store, look for something called Microfiber or Suede Microfiber. It is a synthetic suede. Much sturdier and waaaaaaaay more easy to clean than actual suede(cheaper too). Also available in just about any color.

Good kill on the M3.

Re: Carbon Fibre Vinyl...work has begun

looks really good in my books. For the rear step, did you simply apply or did you use a primer and/or sand the surface ?

Over here I got a 30 x 120 cms roll for 14.99, so off the top of my head that should be about $20 - $25 I think. Really easy to work with and can put up with a lot of abuse during installation.

I saw an SRT8 on YouTube that had a microfibre headlining and it looked amazing. Is there a lot of work involved in removing the headliner?
