Chrome Mirror caps and chrome fog bezel install

2013 Laredo 4x4...Has anyone attempted the replacement? I ordered direct from mopar and couldn't find much info on the install by searching here.
Paper instructions seemed vague, afraid to break something.

Ok cool ..Part I'm having trouble is when your actually prying off the mirror from its base. Does it just pop off or do u got to use a wedge(flathead) to take it off.

If the install goes great , yeah I could sell off the old ones.

Once you get the glass off...mjust use a flathead screwdriver to wedge under the tension clips....it just takes a little to pop them.off

The glass is on there really good .. :/ I see screws underneath ... Can this mod be done with the 2013 model? Or is there an extra step I'm missing... I'm using this

Yes...it can be done. Just grab the glass with both hands and pull it off. It takes some force. Then unplug the glass and place it in a secure spot. You can now access the 4 clips that hold the mirror cover to the base. They are clips....not screws. Just insert a flat blade under the clip to.release it.

Re: Chrome Mirror caps and chrome fog bezel install

Can the fog bezels on a 14 overland be removed without taking the bumper skin off, if so any tips? Want to de-chrome and throw on the gloss black altitude bezels.

Thanks

Re: Chrome Mirror caps and chrome fog bezel install

You can't take the chrome pieces off the fog lights without removing the bumper.

There are 2 torx screws that need to be opened.

BUT, taking the bumper off is easy, just buy a plastic rivet tool and a few rivets ($24 at HFT) and its 20 minutes to take bumper off.....
