So I called a local place today ( rimfix.com) and they tld me that you can't sandblast chrome and that it has to be chemically stripped...????

thats true.

its as complicated as chroming. mostly done by places that also so the plating.

Just called another place, they said your better off to sandblast what you can, lay a primer layer to fill in any pitting or flakes, then put the powder coating over that. They quoted me a price of 600... Hmm.... Now I need to find out how they're warranty works....

EDIT: The warranty is for 1 year...

The two tone wheel looks horrible in my opinion, my vote is for matte black.
