Re: Cost to install Eibach Springs on 2014???

I had a dealer tell me $390 here in Lexington KY. Had a local shop do it with my help(he's a friend) and it was $200

Re: Cost to install Eibach Springs on 2014???

jeep dealership said they would do it for $500 because they have to remove the struts on each wheel which takes more time and had another place quote over $700 which was pretty funny

Re: Cost to install Eibach Springs on 2014???

300.00 is fair.

The first time we did em took 2hrs

Second time 50 min. since we knew what to do. We laid the strut on the ground and stood on it and hit the bolt on top with an impact gun the spring only flew off like 2ft. I was skeptical of this method as I've always been warned the spring will fly off. (NOT FOR EVERYONE I DO NOT AVISE UNLESS YOU ARE CONFIDENT)
To reinstall we put back on the spring cap and nut pushed it down bare hands and hit it with an impact gun done. Struts took a whole of 10min to change the springs once off.

Comes down to shop hours see what they charge and hour and add it up.

I love shops that have a 50.00hr. price sign hung on a wall and tell you 2hrs and then say 600.00 for the job LOL.

Most don't understand it's rather simple to figure out if your being ripped off just ask the hourly rate and then ask for an explanation where they came up with a higher #.
