are you saying you have some carbon fiber pieces and you want to paint over them? or you want to paint the stock ones to look like carbon fiber?

Good job. i told him that if he made the pieces better, people would buy his kits over others and i also told him that people here were asking me about his kits. so at first he seemed like he might not make them, but by you sending him a message it might have been enough to make him decied to fix it. thanks. and as for the led's i hate you for them!! because i know that it will just lead into me doing the interior, then the headlights, then the fog lights, then the tail lights, and so on, and so on. so you owe me around $1000 for starting this. LOL
and i will keep you up to date on the parts. if he gets the door's right, this will be the best kit i have seen for sale anywhere. and then you can get rid of that yellow wood Someone said that i will hate it in a year, but i asked myself could i ever hate this more than that stock silver diamond plate look, and the answer was NO WAY!!

Re: Dash kit install for anyone thinking about it

great news on the dash kit...I have reservations but I agree with you, I would not get sick of your trim, especially over my yellow nonsense!! talk about OLD!!!

you can change all of your lights (interior & exterior) for under $400! I have HID's (fogs and lows) and the interior putco LED kit from XenonDepot (volt kit on HID's, both have been going strong for 15 months, best mods I have ever done), and finished off the interior and exterior with LED's from v-leds.com! Here is a thread:

http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...t=interior+led

Will help with some of the part #'s and bulb types...there are a lot out there so feel free to mix and match on v-leds.com thats what I did hence a couple left over Once I found the interior and exterior I liked, I ordered more

well I really like it, I debated on buying the overland vs the limited becaause of the woodgrain, i actually like your kit better than the overland now. I do agree about the door switch panel, it would look better if they wrapped around somehow.

It's not really carbon fiber, it's those silver pieces on the door arms and around the heating controls.

well keep a watch on this, because he is changing the door piece's so this kit is likely going to be the best one out there.

Re: Dash kit install for anyone thinking about it

any update on the door trim piece? I want to order this badly but with my orange wood it would look horrible IMO if I got somehting contrasting over it...would drive me nuts! did he revise his kit yet? send you a piece to trim???

edit - is this the same kit/eBay user you got?

Re: Dash kit install for anyone thinking about it

no that isnt the kit but its close. and that guy has been giving me the run around. he says the piece was fixed and mailed to me but that was almost 5 weeks ago and he doesnt return my emails. its sad because i still love the kit and it would be great if he would just fix the door parts. just look around and if you find a kit you like ask them if the door pieces wrap around the whole piece. if i hear anything i will let you know. also it might be a good idea just to buy a roll of vinyl and try to wrap them yourself. just a thought
