Yup, I've been at it again
Ordered up another roll, so it's back to work.
Today class, it's the B pillars
These were a pain to remove. You'll need a T50 torx to remove the seatbelt. The seatbelt adjuster is removed by pulling it towards you carefully. After that the whole thing unclips, eventually! It is on pretty tight and you have to be very careful not to break the clips. I broke one of the plastic guide pins, but no biggy as they don't really do anything.
Next remove the adjuster rail by sliding it out of the pillar...
I marked the top end with some masking tape, so I know which way it goes back.
Time to start wrapping...
Heat can be used for some of the more complex parts. I fought with some wrinkling at the top for a while. Took a hairdrier to it and managed to smooth it all out. Heat does make a small difference, so I would reccomend it. But obviously don't use a heat gun.
The headling is desperately needing done now, as it will look so much better. The rolls I've been getting aren't wide enough for that, so for now I'll get to work on door cards, dash, remaining pillars. I really want to do the floor console as well. Going to have a dry run with that tomorrow and see how it goes.
Thanks for listening
