Finding trim parts on the Mopar site

I have been navigating the Mopar website trying to figure out how to identify which part in multiple-part diagrams they are talking about and figured someone on here might know the trick (example: http://www.mopar.com/part/05165724AB?s=352145&i=997195&b=jeep). Some of them use the exact same name for 5 or 6 parts with no numerical reference to which they are talking about. Does anyone know the key to this? Thanks in advance!

That system leaves a lot to be desired. If you have a 2011 or earlier model it's a lot easier to search parts using the PDF parts documents. I have not been able to find a 2012 manual in PDF format. Trim parts can be tricky as there can be a lot of different variations. Sometimes the only way for 100% verification of the correct part is to have the dealer look it up using your VIN which will in most cases filter out the correct part.
