Re: Fog bulbs to match the color of the HIDs

so i received a set of Nokya Artic White 7000k 55w bulbs. Are these things to hot? I don't want to melt the housing, I believe the stock bulbs are 45w.

I think we have the same bulbs, http://www.racinglab.com/noarwhprohah1.html

I have no problems with them.

yes, those are the bulbs, I tend to leave my fogs on all the time, good to know that your setup is fine.

Re: Fog bulbs to match the color of the HIDs

I don't know if you have purchased bulbs yet, but I went to pep boys and picked up a pair of the bulbs that have a blue tint on it. they were only 9 bucks and they look white when on, sorry don't have a pick to show. I do not have HID head lamps but the fogs look very white when compared.

I will install 1 bulb and compare with the stock bulb, I'm hoping that the Artic White from Nokya has some blue tinge to it.

Re: Fog bulbs to match the color of the HIDs

you can get a cheap hid kit and get 4300 and it should match your stock hids... hids run cooler than halogens as scott stated. i always run my fogs(when truck is on, fogs are on) and never have had the housing melt or deform

I installed the nokys artic white bulbs, difficult to tell in the picture but I do like the color much better over stock.
