Fog Lights

Hey there, my 06 WK didn't come with fog lights. I was wondering if there was a good site to check out other than eBay so that I know that they are good. I really don't want to spend near $200 off of Mopar's site. I'm not sure which sites sell the full wiring and which are just selling the lamp and bulb.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Fog Lights

He bro this is what I have of of ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...Q5fAccessories

The good thing is you don't need the wiring that comes with this kit because your jeep already has the wiring, so all you have to do in install the fogs and connect the back wiring...plug and play. The bad thing is since you didn't have fogs to begin with you are going to have to bring your ride to a local dealership to get flashed to recognize the new hardware and you are going to need a the relay fuses and a new turn signal arm because the one you have does not have the pull out knob fog option. This you can pick up fro justforjeep for around $150... I think that's what it cost. So after all purchasing the fogs, the hardware, and install you should be looking around $300-$375 to be spent.
Hope this answers your question.

Re: Fog Lights

How sure are you that i have these wires already run? I wasn't going to go all out with the upgraded turn signal. I just want to run a toggle switch somewhere on my dash. Any ideas of anything more basic?

This is how basic I got with my fogs. No starscan needed.

Re: Fog Lights

maybe car-part.com for the fogs. then you'll need to find a stalk with the fog light enable feature. the wires are already on the jeep (behind the bumper plugged into a clip). you'll also need a starscan tool to activate it after install which can be done at a dealership

Re: Fog Lights

I just bought the mopar kit...i was nervous about buying everything separately but i should have taken everyone's advice. buy two lamps, a multifunction switch (light stalk) and a stock relay to install in your fuse box that is labeled front fogs. the 20a fuse was already in my vehicle. My dealer programed mine for 40 dollars.

Re: Fog Lights

you can get both stock foglamps on ebay for $45 plus shipping or at justforjeeps for $23 each(last i checked), the multifunction switch is like $32 and the relay is $13. Thats a lot cheaper than $200 for the mopar kit

Re: Fog Lights

since i got an HID kit, i put a relay harness, and used the driving light as the turn on...i may just add a switch to that later, but for now it works, its just that when i have my lows on, i always have my fogs on...
