I know! Which is why it's been pissing me off so much, I've tried every single thing I have in the garage including a full set of both standard and metric alan wrenches and there's not a single thing that will fit (tried scissors, dull knives, anything!)

Oooo! I had to buy an extended screwdriver set with tons of head pieces the other night to reach the screw under the air box, maybe something in there will fit.

Snow's starting to come down now, I'll probably have another set of offroad snow wheeling pics coming if it keeps up

Already spent it

Up to $3058 in purely mods but that's not including the shorty or custom CAI costs yet (yes, I do keep track as much as it hurts to see the numbers add up). Add another $946 in gas and $1400, soon to be $2100 in insurance and I've spent shittons (yes, shittons, a legit unit) on my rig and it's still nowhere near done! For every mod I check off the list there's another one added. Good thing is I've found much cheaper replacements for mods I wanted ($2 worth of VHT and $15 Stealth bulbs instead of $200 headlights and $50 PVC CAI instead of a $270 K&N).

I'm enjoying it while it lasts cause I'll be broke as could be coming out of college let alone whenever I get going on starting a business. "Hope for the best, prepare for the worst"

It's 700 every 6 months, actually that's what it was when the company thought my mom was the principal driver, now it's $1100 every 6 months even with 0 tickets (got a speeding ticket but it got wiped clean the next day), 0 accidents on my fault (been clipped and rearended, neither was my fault), and no reason to suspect I'm a dangerous driver. My mom's awesome enough to say I only need to pay $700 of the $1100 though and she takes care of the remainder.

The mod bug got me quickly. Went from "I just want a brushguard" to what's in the sig in 10 months. Forums definitely don't help slow down the process haha.

Well I love auto mechanics and offroad mods so if I can find a way to combine design and production of parts with business management I'll be one happy guy. I'd love to own a company like AEV. If I had the extra cash right now I'd be buying used Jeeps, fixing them up, and reselling them but I don't have that kind of money for startup and I'm not done with my own yet. Of course I'm open to anything that seems interesting.

Tell me about it! The girl who rear ended me tried to be like "well your car's fine and I don't want to be late to school"...my hitch bar was totally wrecked, bent up into my spare, and my bumper had a dent - total repairs turned out to be $1650. Choosing to be nice I said she could pay without insurance. Took pictures, had witnesses, took insurance info and all the rest of that fun stuff, just no cops. Initial estimate was $700 before they found additional damage. After tons of arguing with her dad we finally got a check for $700. When the additional damage was found we tried and tried and tried to reach the father again...ignored. Ended up going through insurance for the remaining $950. Gotta love jackasses.

Thanks, hopefully I'll end up doing something I enjoy.

Haha I mean the forums have been by far the best possible source available for info, advice, and ideas - they just don't help me run out of things to spend my money on
