Gray Faded Panels and bumpers

I have a 2000 Laredo, What can I do to make it look best? Can u paint those moldings or take off side panels and have bare metal? I'm confused I would like whole car Black

I'm sure you could paint them. You may even be able to use "forever black". Don't know about removing them.

Bare metal would rust , not even sure what's under those plastic panels...maybe the door frame.

I don't think they're faded by the way. Mine look like that, I think they look fine. Keep us updated on what you do though!

Thanks guys I just like the car all one car like the Jeep grand Cherokee limited. I'll see what I do and post pics. I hear a heat gun brings the plastic back to life also.

You could remove those panels, but it won't look good. The metal below it is just painted like the rest of the door.
To my opinion it would look best when painted in the same colour of the jeep. There are products to make the plastic look darker, but it needs to be reapplied often to stay nice.
