Headlight Painting

Being that I am in the process of upping the visuals of my WK, I am considering painting my headlight housings to match the facelift that my Jeep is getting over the next couple of weeks. Am I ok doing this by myself with no prior experience? Is it really THAT hard with the 05-07 headlights? I'm going to be using color match paint from automotivetouchup.com and adding HIDs at the same time.

Re: Headlight Painting

You can do it, Its not hard, just takes patience. like 4-5hrs.
Mkae sure you clean the lens b4 heating it up. and make sure you keep slowly prying and heating. Anymore Questions just ask

Re: Headlight Painting

Its just hard opening them up...Although some tend to open easier than others for some reason!

murfman is just really nice
Re: Headlight Painting

From my experience the aftermarket lights open up easier than the OEM ones.
