HELP!!How can i remove spray paint from my Car paint???

I had spray painted the badges on my Jeep black and yesterday i removed them but now you can see an outline of the letters in spray paint.
Has anybody had any experience with this or does anybody have any ideas on how i can remove the spray paint???
thanks

Re: HELP!!How can i remove spray paint from my Car paint???

it should be rather easy to get it off without harming underneath.

I would try some goo gone. its safe for factory paint but might loosen that.

a good cleaner wax is prolly next. I did this as a teenanger and my Moms white coupe de ville had a red tint. I showed my Pops, we had a good driveway and a large drain. we just used kerosene to wash the whole car.

clay bar will most def take it off too.

whichever if you are successful be sure to wax it as all those abovbe remove all wax.

Re: HELP!!How can i remove spray paint from my Car paint???

is it clumped like it came off the edges of the painted badges.

we need to dissolve it would be best.

you have any bug and tar? i would try that too.. it might melt the SPRAY paint and leave the other paint alone.

just be patient, its just finding the right stuff.

dont rush into it and ruin the paint.

try bug and tar remover, it has a little alcohol in it, i did that to mine a month ago (used bug and tar remover, not painted my jeep). i drove thru a puddle of paint somebody spilled on the road.

Re: HELP!!How can i remove spray paint from my Car paint???

straight up gas. put a little on a rag and wipe the paint off. either that or some rubbing alcohol. claybar works as well.
