Re: Help, yay or nay

I'm gonna have to say nay too...

I think they spoil the look of the front end and something that bright won't be any good unless you really are off-road.

Mount them inside your rear window facing the back and get back at tailgaters. Lol.

haha, that would cause an accident for sure.

When I had my old wrangler i got into a high beam flashing war with these bad boys on my front bumper. It went something like this,

I had my low beams on IPF e-code with an h4 conversion.
They flashed me
I flashed back indicating i had my low beams on
They flashed me twice in a row
I flashed again
They kept their high beams on
I switched on my daylighters
Their entire interior was illuminated

These f'ers are bright, when I would go driving on back roads to go fishing before sunrise I would always keep my finger on the switch to cut them off at the first sight of on coming traffic.

Here's a pic, it's not of my jeep but it has a bunch of long range lights on the light bar across the top.

Re: Help, yay or nay

You know what would be cool. Mounting them where they can be flipped. You know what I mean? Like you can hide the under the bumper and when you want them they will flip out and shine the road! The get Hinges and mount them. So when you want them just flip them out.

Re: Help, yay or nay

Yeah, I had the xentec HID's from tony about this time last year, they were awsome but I had a couple issues with them. I might get some from xenon depot with my christmas bonus. The HID's were bright but the beam pattern is still the same. See the whole reason i got them in the first place for my wrangler was for deer. We get a TON of them crossing the back roads this time of year, with the daylighters I could see them WAAAAY in advance, I might see if i can fit them some where else tomorrow morning.

That would be really cool, but I think they're to big to be able to tuck up under the bumper.

Re: Help, yay or nay

I say NAY. But you do have some good flat spots beside the tags where they can be flush mounted into the bumper.

Re: Help, yay or nay

I say yay, but not in that position. Try moving them around. Even a couple of mm's might make all the difference.
