Re: HID for MOST bright??

I'd go 4300k-5k the most for lows. Get matching bulbs for the fogs and a spare set of 3k to swap out the fogs.
3k fogs =

Agreed.. 4300-5k will give you the best light output. I do like my 6k's though.

That's what I have. But if you want more visibility go with a 4-5k bulb for your low beams.

Re: HID for MOST bright??

there My (what I was told) 5k lows have a slight blue/violet tint to them. but on the ground it looks awesome. Mine are much brighter than my GF lexus IS250 oem stock xenon hid's.

And plus you have projectors so it's going to look sofa-king sick with hid's bro... You're going to be like OMG!!!

The projectors are going to look crazy with the HID's. Good luck with them bro!!! And please don't hesitate to ask Irf about the grounds. LOL

sorry bro.....4300K is the brightest, best light output you can get in an HID bulb. Anything above that you lose usable light output to the color. So if you have 6000k's and she has the oem 4300k...hers are the brightest. Yours just "seem" brighter because you have HID aftermarket bulbs in a non-projector oem lamp. Therefore your lamps are scattering the light all over GOD's creation and blinding oncoming drivers and making them seem brighter to the eye when infact they are putting out less light. LOL
